Things To Do in Parrsboro
The Fundy Geological Museum, recently renovated and open year-round. Close to beaches, golf and the Harbourview Restaurant (which is open seasonally). Guided beach walks available in season.
The Ottawa House By-The-Sea Museum, an historic building, once the summer residence of Sir Charles Tupper (one of the Fathers of Confederation and Canada's seventh Prime Minister). Artifacts, events, beaches; 3.5 km down the road from Tysons'. Open mid-May to the end of September.
Parrsboro Golf Club, a nine-hole course with stunning views, open to visitors from May to October.
Cultural activities year-round: concerts, movies, sales, special events and more.
The ferry that became a stage: The Ship's Company Theatre, on Lower Main Street (a short walk from Tysons'). Professional theatre, drama camps, fiddle camp, concerts and special events. Open seasonally.

Things To Do in This Area
Age of Sail Heritage Museum, in Port Greville (about 20 minutes' drive from Parrsboro). A wonderful museum in a beautiful setting, with a cafe. Open from the end of May to mid-October.
Can the enormous power of the Bay of Fundy tides be used to provide clean energy? Find out at the interpretive centre, 10 km down the road from Tysons', open from May to October (it has a fabulous view across the water to Cape Split).
The Joggins Fossil Centre: museum, guided beach walks, cafe, spectacular scenery. Roughly 42.5 km from Parrsboro (by the Boars Back Road route). Open from April 21 to the end of October (by prior arrangement at other times).
